We understand that occasionally, a product may not meet our stringent quality standards. This policy outlines the terms under which you can return a product to us if it is found to be defective.
1. Eligibility for Return (Defective Products Only):
- We accept returns exclusively for products that are found to be defective upon arrival or within a specified warranty period (if applicable and stated on the product page).
- A “defective product” is defined as an item that has a manufacturing flaw or is not functioning as intended, despite proper use, due to a fault that existed at the time of purchase.
- Products damaged due to misuse, improper handling, accident, alteration, unauthorized repair, or normal wear and tear are not considered defective and will not be eligible for return or refund.
- Returns must be initiated within 7 days of receiving your product. For items with a manufacturer’s warranty, please refer to the specific warranty terms provided with the product for longer-term defect claims.
2. How to Initiate a Return for a Defective Product:
To initiate a return for a defective product, please follow these steps:

- Provide your Order Number, a detailed description of the defect, and attach clear photos or a short video showing the defect. This will help us quickly assess the issue.
- Assessment: Our team will review your claim. We may contact you for further information or to arrange a diagnostic check if necessary.
- Return Authorization: If your claim is approved, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions on how to send the defective item back to us. Do not send products back without an RMA number, as they may not be processed.
3. Returning the Defective Product:
- Once you have an RMA number, please securely package the defective product, preferably in its original packaging, along with all accessories, manuals, and proof of purchase.
- Clearly write the RMA number on the outside of the package.
- Ship the item to the address provided by our support team.
- Shipping Costs for Returns:
- If the product is confirmed to be defective, BIR Tools will cover the cost of return shipping from the customer and the cost of sending a replacement (if applicable) within Bangladesh. We may provide a return shipping label or reimburse you upon receipt of a valid shipping receipt.
- If the product is found not to be defective after inspection, the customer will be responsible for the return shipping costs to BIR Tools and the cost to have the product shipped back to them.
4. Inspection and Resolution:
- Upon receiving the returned item, our technical team will inspect it to verify the defect.
- If the defect is confirmed:
- We will offer you a replacement of the same product, subject to availability.
- If a replacement is not available, or if you prefer, we will issue a full refund to your original payment method.
- If no defect is found, or if the defect is due to misuse:
- We will notify you of our findings.
- The item will be returned to you at your expense.
5. Refunds (for Approved Defective Product Returns):
- Refunds will be processed within 7-14 business days after the defect is confirmed and the refund is approved.
- The refund will be credited back to your original method of payment (e.g., bank transfer, mobile banking, credit/debit card).
- Please note that it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.
